'OMI Pendant Collection' window installation runs from the 15th February 2012

To coincide with London Fashion Week, we are excited to host an installation of the incredible hand-crafted pendant lanterns by textile designer, Naomi Paul. An expert in combining vintage and pre-used with contemporary, her pieces are created using a range of re-cycled and up-cycled materials from fashion houses such as Missoni. Through physical exploration of yarns, constructing and deconstructing ideas Naomi’s designs evolve organically, forming pattern through structure with subtle use of colour. Inspired by traditional craft techniques and the emotional attachment we all hold to materials, exploring the possibilities of knit and crochet for interior application both for the home and commercial settings.

The collaborate with Naomi, utilises Darkroom's large window area to showcase the OMI Pendant Collection; a series of pendants that evolved from the desire to create lighting that is minimal and timeless. Designed to be used in any interior setting to create a soft, atmospheric ambience and also act as a modern sculptural focal point in a space, whether lit or not. Handcrafted out of textile waste from celebrated and international renown fashion houses, the OMI pendants are not only responsibly crafted but share the quiet opulence of premium textiles used in haute design.

The OMI Pendants are available in three shapes [HANNE, SONNE & GLUCK] and in a variety of colours.

Prices from £320 - £700.
